My legal journey began in 2004 at the esteemed Law Offices of Donald S. Lucien, where I initially practiced workers' compensation and personal injury law. From the start, I was committed to providing dedicated and high-quality legal representation.
In 2006, I transitioned to public service as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County, gaining valuable courtroom experience in criminal law. Two years later, in 2008, I joined The Law Offices of Peter Nelson, where I defended workers' compensation cases on behalf of defendants, further broadening my legal expertise.
By 2009, I returned to Donald S. Lucien’s firm, where my practice shifted toward Disability Discrimination cases arising from workers' compensation claims. This transition marked a pivotal moment in my career, deepening my focus on employment law.
In 2012, I became a partner at the Law Offices of Donald S. Lucien, distinguishing myself as the firm’s sole attorney specializing exclusively in employment law. My passion lies in advocating for employee rights and delivering exceptional legal representation.
Following the passing of my father and firm founder, Donald S. Lucien, in 2018, I established Lucien Law Group. This new venture allowed me to continue my commitment to employment law while preserving my father’s legacy of legal excellence.
My legal career began early—I was admitted to the Bar in 2004, but my immersion in the field started at just 19 years old as a law clerk at my father’s firm. Over the years, I gained hands-on experience in legal research, drafting motions, handling discovery, and preparing appellate court briefs, laying the foundation for my future as a litigator. While in law school, I completed a six-month externship as a Certified Law Clerk at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where I handled approximately 120 criminal preliminary hearings and a misdemeanor trial.
I earned my Juris Doctor from Glendale University College of Law in 2002. I began my legal career with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where I tried more than a dozen cases to verdict in my first year. I later transitioned to civil law, where I have successfully litigated seventeen jury trials and secured numerous high-value settlements for my clients. Notable case results include:
$3,000,000 settlement in a single-plaintiff employment case
$2,000,000 settlement in an employment matter
$1,735,951.30 settlement against a government entity after trial and appeals (originating from a workers’ compensation case)
$1,500.00 Singe plaintiff employment case.
$1,498.00 Single plaintiff employment case
$1,400,000 workers’ compensation settlement reached just before trial
$980,000 Single plaintiff employment case
899,000 Single Plaintiff employment case
Numerous other cases reaching seven-figure and high six-figure settlements.
